Modify 3D Blending Enhancements

Enhancements to blending operations have been made to eliminate some of the previous restrictions. In addition, direct links to online help is now available when an error occurs.

Exercise 1: Displaying Help When and Error Occurs

In this exercise you attempt to offset a face.

Load the package modify3d.pkg.
Use the Modify 3D / Offset command to offset the face.
When the operation fails, click the ? button to get help on why the operation failed.

Exercise 2: Blending Edges to form a Convex/Concave Vertex Region

This exercise demonstrates how SolidDesigner creates a vertex region when a convex blend meets a concave blend.

Load the package blend3d.pkg.
Blend the edges indicated in the graphic.
Repeat the above blending operation but this time include the vertical edge. Compare the blend at the corner with the previous result.
