Laser Welding

Prototype fitting connections have been made by EB Industries in Farmingdale, NY.  In these pictures, you will see the outer fitting body (6063 Aluminum) and the inner tube (3003 Aluminum).  You can see that the fillets are very small and uniform (nice!).  For reference, the diameter of the inside tube is approximately 4.5 mm (ID).  Click the image below for full size JPEG's.
