Welcome to the WorkManager Training Materials page.

To get help on WorkManager training topics, click on the items listed.

For new-comers to WorkManager consider the following viewing order.

Start with the PowerPoint presentations:

1) Brief _WorkManager_Intro - Starting WorkManager and logging in
2) WorkManager_Basics - Searching for models and drawings, checking in models and drawings
3) Model-Drawing_Permissions - State and Reservation concepts (where do the locks come from?)
4) WorkManager_Concepts_&_Schema - Old vs. new business rules, locating and loading models
   drawings, editing masterdata

Then move on to the liks contained in:

   Intro_to_WM

If you are an ALS user you should also check out:

1) ALS_Modeling_Schema - Model naming conventions and hierarchy
2) WorkManager_Model_Schema - text document that details the ALS modeling schema
3) DRAFT-BeamLine_Check_in_ Procedure - Struct. and naming your BL before checking into WM.
4) ENG-09_01_2004-Procurement - suggested method for doing job orders
