If you want to copy/import a co-worker’s OneSpace Designer customizations use the following procedure.
Ask the co-worker to Export their customizations. This is easy to do, have them start OneSpace Designer and select “UI Settings” under the Tools drop down menu.
When the UI settings menu pops up click on “Export Customizations” (near the bottom).
If a dialog box appears click YES on the warning to overwrite the customization files.
Overwriting these files will insure that the most current customizations are saved. These files are saved in U:\sd_customize\sd_customize_11.
Next on your computer, before starting OneSpace Designer do the following:
1) Replace your U:\sd_customize\sd_customize_11 folder with your co-workers sd_customize_11 folder. Remember that you will have to navigate through the X: drive to get to their folder.
2) Reset the your User Interface settings by double clicking on the following icons:
a. The computer icon on your desktop, it probably starts with MCAD-xxx.
b. Program Files
c. CoCreate
d. The version of SolidDesigner you are using, this will most likely be SolidDesigner 11.x.x.x
e. ResetUISettings.bat
Start OneSpace Designer, your co-worker’s customizations will now be loaded into your session and become your customizatons.
