Translating dxf/dwg files using the ME10 dxf translator "stand alone".

Procedure:

Navigate to the dxf directory using the "Windows Explorer"

  1. Open up the Explorer by right mouse clicking on the start menu and selecting

    2. "Explore".

    2) Navigate to C:\Program Files\CoCreate\dxfdwg.

     

  2. Double click on the dxfdwg.exe icon to start the translation program.
  3. The following window appears… press enter to continue.

  4. Select the type of translation you wish to perform.

    5.  

     

  5. Enter the full path and name of the source file. If the file is on your U: drive. The path might look like.

    6. U:\filename.dxf

  6. Enter a destination name for the translated file or press enter for the default name which will be your original name with the appropriate suffix.
  7. Press enter when prompted for the log file name.
  8. The translation will now take place and the new file will be saved in the same directory as the original un-translated file.

 

To exit out of the translator press enter and then select "0".
